Born on the resource planet, Nextuus, Randall grew up in quiet surroundings on a sept farm (septs being a root-like vegetable). Because of his exposure to the raw plant for much of his life, his hair gained it's strong, green pigmentation. As a young man, Randall became a cybernetics apprentice, but soon left his family and schooling behind to travel the world and seek his fortune.

Currently, Lockheed's treasure-hunting business has been all but dead for months. Forced to live in his plane and borrow money from the local airport's manager, Randall desperately tries to expand his business and find new jobs.
